Entering Mexico: Currently, Mexico does not require any type of negative COVID test to enter the country.

Returning to the US: Effective January 2021, the USA *does* require a negative COVID test to re-enter the US after international travel.

Nearly every resort (including UNICO) provides testing on-site at the resort for guests. We will share more information about how to schedule this test when you are closer to travel.

As of March 2022, vaccinations do not exempt anyone from testing, though this could change. We will keep you posted!

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport book, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the  U.S. Department of State website.

The passport card or enhanced drivers license is NOT valid for air travel. The only acceptable document is the passport book.

If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. The U.S. State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity on their passport after their return trip date.

We recommend checking your passport now to see if you need to renew - please don't wait until the last minute!

Because group reservations at all inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment.  Life is unpredictable; plans can change.

The cost of insurance is based on your age, your state of residency and the total cost of your trip. Due to this, travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest.

• Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change
• Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events.

• Only rooms booked with Alpaca Your Bags Travel count toward this contract
• The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to  come earlier or stay later!

All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room.

The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:

• Hotel Accommodations
• All Inclusive Meal Plan - Also includes all beverages including alcohol
• Round trip shared transportation between the destination airport & your resort
• Hotel, Tax & gratuities
• All wedding events & activities

The couple has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests.

The group kindly asks that you book your hotel within our designated group contract here at Alpaca Your Bags Travel.

There are several reasons why you should honor the group's wishes and book the hotel portion with the group:

• The group has worked with me to negotiate a contract for the ENTIRE group. This includes a special set rate and included transportation.
• Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.
• Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you're likely getting a room that couldn't be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in a undesirable location away from everyone else.
• Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the hotel over sells, your group is protected but his reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.

Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:

• Will not get the group rates
• Will have to pay up front vs. over time.
• Will not receive any pre-departure, trip support or post-trip support from me.
• Unfortunately I cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can I assist in the event of an emergency.
• Will be required to pay a day pass on property to attend wedding events. Note: Day pass sales are extremely limited due to covid occupancy restrictions.

Yes! Please coordinate with your roommate and designate ONE person to fill out the reservation form.

Reservation forms should be one per ROOM, not one per person. When I get your form, I will email both of you and explain next steps.

If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second passenger's contact info. This can go in the notes field.

Yes!  Initial deposits are due on March 22, 2023

There are no set requirements for payments, as long as final payments are made by the deadline.  Final payments are due on July 26, 2023.

While the group requests that you book your room with the group, you are welcome to book your own airfare. ​

Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you're ready.

If you book your own air, please forward your air confirmation email to me no later than September 6, 2023.  This is how we schedule your transportation pick up at your destination. The only airport option for this hotel is CUN, Cancun international airport. UNICO is approximately 1hr and 15 min south of the airport.

Guests who do not submit their air information by the deadline will forfeit their included transfers.

If you would like assistance with air, we are happy to help! There is a $50 ticketing fee included in all of our air quotes.
