Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended and protects you if you need to cancel your trip. Since all-inclusives are pre-paid, insurance protects your investment if you need to change your plans. Without travel insurance, there are no refunds for any reason.
Since travel insurance costs are based on your state of residency, your age and the final cost of your trip, quotes will be provided to each individual guest.
Travel insurance includes more than just cancellation coverage… it includes post-departure coverage and medical coverage as well! Did you know that most USA health insurances do NOT work in Mexico? If you need to see a doctor for an illness or a small mishap, you will be charged in cash upfront before a doctor will treat you. Insurance helps reimburse you for these unexpected costs.
To read more about Travel Insurance, click here. Guests who decline insurance will be required to sign a waiver before we can finalize your reservation.
Note: If you have a pre-existing medical condition or desire higher coverage limits, I am happy to quote you for a more comprehensive travel insurance policy. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, we may need to quote a different type of policy for you. Please message me for details.
We work with Allianz and Travel Guard to provide extensive coverage for all types of travel. Email me at ashley@alpacayourbags for more detail.
